- Roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, and related tools to ensure the organizations data is appropriate, accurate, secure, and reliable.
- Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap
- Leading, managing, and developing a collaborative culture of data governance analyst that deliver data governance within projects and initiatives at Beam Suntory.
- Ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's principal data assets.
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
- Handle the introduction, maintenance, and integration of data governance tools (e.g., data catalog, lineage, data dictionary, data glossary), as well as ensuring tool adoption.
- Continuous improvement of the data governance methodology learning project to project
- Proven experience (5-8 years) in data governance, management, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity
- Solid understanding and experience in data governance, data stewardship, data analysis preferably with experience CPG organization with large-scale data or project management and data oversight experience
- Experience managing a team of data governance professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring high-quality work output along with the ability to empower and inspire a team
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement data governance initiatives, including collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data owners.
- Experience implementing data governance programs and knowledge of applicable standard methodologies, concepts, best practices, and procedures.
- A detailed understanding and hands on experience preferred implementing data governance tools such as Informatica, Collibra, etc.
- Travel to other Global sites approximately 15% of the time.
