    Aiming to enhance our product support teams, we are seeking a technical support specialist focused on our detection product line. As a technical support expert of the detection product range, you will assist our international sales teams and customers in implementing their projects using our fire protection solutions and system components.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support to sales teams, customers, and system installers
    • Conduct presentations and technical trainings both in person and online in English and other languages
    • Offer expert guidance on fire protection solutions and system components selection
    • Create project-specific material BOMs
    • Configure fire alarm and extinguishing control panels
    • Collaborate with suppliers, prepare offers, and handle project orders
    • Develop technical documentation
    • Address technical inquiries and provide commissioning support

    Reporting Line and Travel

    The position reports to the Detection Product Manager based in Germany. You may be located at one of our Viking offices in Spain, Italy, UK, the Netherlands, or Germany, or a home office setup can be arranged if you live far from our offices. Some travel may be necessary.

    Requirements

    • Degree in electronics engineering, energy systems electronics engineering, mechatronics, preferably with a focus on energy and construction technology
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical systems commissioning
    • Knowledge of fire alarm and extinguishing control systems
    • Experience in preparing quotations and order processing (SAP knowledge is a bonus)
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite
    • Fluency in English, German, and other European languages is advantageous
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Customer-centric and solution-driven mindset
    • Proactive and goal-oriented attitude
