    , a business unit of RTI International, is an independent and internationally recognised research organisation. We provide healthcare consulting and research expertise to optimise decision making for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device products across the development and marketing life cycle. Clients rely on our expertise, quality standards, and integrity to guide their product development and regulatory and market access strategies. Our various practice areas include Value, Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research; Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment; Pharmacoepidemiology and Regulatory RWE; Surveys and Observational Studies; Biostatistics; and Health Preference Assessment. RTI-HS has office locations in the US, UK, Spain, France, and Sweden.

    To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking to add a Senior Vice President, Strategic Consulting & Growth to lead a team that includes Business Development, Marketing and Communications, and Integrated Evidence Strategy, and will be tasked with developing strategic plans, identifying opportunities for expansion, optimising strategic partnering with our clients, and enhancing organisational performance.

    The Strategic Consulting and Growth team will play a vital role in helping RTI-HS adapt to evolving market dynamics, capitalise on growth opportunities, and achieve sustainable competitive advantages to achieve long-term success.

    Responsibilities

    n this role, you will provide strategic direction and operational leadership for the Strategic Consulting & Growth service grouping within RTI-HS, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and growth initiatives. You will lead RTI-HS strategic planning efforts, ensuring that the Strategic Consulting & Growth service grouping is positioned to support organisational strategies and long-term growth plans.

    Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive business development initiatives to identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and expand the client base. Lead efforts to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives. Provide strategic guidance and support to clients, leveraging insights and expertise to drive value-added solutions and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including other departments within HS, as well as external partners, to support research and consulting projects and initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and deliver on the promise of science for global good, aligned with our organisational success.
  • Conduct market analysis and research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the healthcare industry. Develop strategies to capitalise on market opportunities and drive growth.
  • Engage in Health Solutions-wide strategic planning and aligning service grouping to strategy and growth plans.
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships.
  • Manage financial performance for the Strategic Consulting & Growth service group.
  • Allocate resources effectively to support ongoing projects.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Strategic Consulting & Growth team, fostering a culture of excellence, flexibility, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Support the professional development and career progression of team members.
  • Represent RTI Health Solutions and the Strategic Consulting & Growth team at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert, contributing to industry discussions and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 20 years of directly related experience, or Master's degree and 16 years of directly related experience, or PhD and 12 years of directly related experience.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growth minded and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating growth and change effectively, providing a compelling vision for greater client-centricity, and preparing and supporting those affected by change.
  • Extensive external global network across the pharma and healthcare industries.
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally as needed.
