We're looking for a Global Social Media operations Intern to join our team in Madrid.

You'll be part of the Signify central Brand and Marketing team and its responsibilities are defining, coordinating and creating the communications for all global Signify brands, so empathy and curiosity in order to understand the needs of our customers and consumers must be in your DNA.

Working as a social media operations intern at Signify is dynamic. You'll be supporting the Global Social media orchestration & operations manager. We're greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.

What you'll do

Codrive social media performance optimizations for Outbound (posting) and Inbound (community management)
Learn about organic and paid social media activities
Learn and provide support for social media activities like posting, measuring, optimizing, troubleshooting and social listening
Work with the leading social media publishing and listening platform (Sprinklr)
Deploy and setup communication for social media operations towards all key stakeholders in markets and central teams
Guard social media calendars and brand compliance for all key Global brands
Monitor & analyse social media analytics, bring new, innovative ideas to operational processes
You'll be actively participating in our virtual intern network where you'll be working on business cases, personal development and building your internal network

Your qualifications

Currently studying towards your HBO Bachelor / Bachelor of Science / Master of science WO in: Marketing, Digital Media or related studies
Able display a good level of spoken and written English (to communicate internationally and make presentations)
Practically experienced using social media apps and knowledgeable in Digital marketing
Experienced using social media publishing tools (minimum to a basic level) and aware of content management
A team player with an investigative mind and highly selfconfident
Available for 6 months (with a possibility to extend) and able to start your internship in the beginning of February

Notes

EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
Non-EU students in

Dutch Universities:
You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn).

In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship.

The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
