    Thales Digital Identity & Security is a leading global player in digital security, fostering trust in an increasingly interconnected world. We create and offer a wide array of products, software, and services rooted in two core technologies: digital ID and data protection.

    If you're seeking fresh opportunities and are eager to be part of a highly skilled multicultural team, with a willingness to travel (up to 15% of your time during certain periods), we are currently on the lookout for a Validation & Integration Engineer to join our Madrid team.

    A week in the life of a Validation & Integration Engineer:

    • Validate various products and components (software applications, libraries, systems, and solutions) and integrate them into customer environments.
    • Define integration strategies and contribute to creating acceptance test plans.
    • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues.
    • Develop training materials for system administration and operation, providing end-user or trainer training.

    To excel in this role, you should have experience with:

    • Test management and bug reporting using JIRA.
    • Conducting testing campaigns.
    • Various non-functional testing types (e.g., performance, load, stress) with tools like JMeter, Postman, or SOAP UI.
    • Backend server technologies including application servers, databases, and SOAP/REST web services.
    • Fluency in English (B2+) and Spanish.
    • Minimum of 3 years of QA Testing experience.

    Added Value:

    • Experience in testing with ATDD or BDD.
    • Integration with Jenkins.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages for automated testing (e.g., Python).
    • Testing within Docker environments.
    • Familiarity with ELK stack concepts (Kibana, Elasticsearch, Logstash) and experience in validation.
    • Deployment and testing on application servers (JBoss/wildfly, WebSphere, GlassFish...).
    • Sound knowledge of SQL and various database servers (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Maria DB).
