This position is aimed at Accedo's growing Quality Assurance Engineering team in Madrid.

Objective of role:
you will be primarily responsible for project testing of Accedo's multimedia and streaming applications.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of media applications and games being developed for world famous brands.

The role will involve a close relationship with software development teams in Accedo.

Defining, developing and deploying quality assurance initiatives throughout entire software life cycle, including development, enhancements or maintenanceProvide appropriate planning and execution in regression testing, performance testing, integration testing, and other non-functional testing to ensure successful application deploymentDesigning and executing test plans, cases and scripts to ensure that products of exceptional quality is delivered, aligned with business objectives on various platforms such as mobile, web, smart TV and game consoleCollaborate in a cross-function delivery team to ensure that all aspects of quality are actively discussed and addressed during the delivery processWork with clients to help convey issues around quality and build a relationship surrounding QA on the respective projectUpdating and maintaining best QA procedures and standards, including test planning, test data preparation and test automationDefining and analysing performance objectives and measuring against data QA compliance metrics and ensuring targetsLead quality initiatives on a project managing multiple platforms, interacting with customers on a daily basis, working closely with developers, Business Analyst, Project manager and Product Owners.

Define the test strategy, automation strategy and write test scripts and automate UI and APIProvide input to the QA Manager/Team lead for all QA related activities and dependenciesP.

Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.

Preference will be given to Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree holders2-3 years of experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance along with experience in design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software product testingStrong experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Strong knowledge of software Quality Assurance best practices and methodologiesStrong experience in software Quality Control, and testing areasGood English language skills.

You should be able to communicate in English with colleagues and customers.

Experience in QA Automation is a big plusExperience with statistical analysis and reporting techniquesSelf-motivated, passionate, responsible and a good team playerExcellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skillsExcellent communicator, detail oriented and quality focusedExcellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishStreaming media technology experience is a plusPreference will be given to candidates with automation experience Experience from the Software industry is mandatoryWe put our people first and extraordinary things happen.
