    Job Title: Software Engineering Manager

    Location: Remoto 100%

    Salary: 60K - 70K

    As we are building a brand-new product development team, we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong technical background – Smart, Creative and Persistent person who will take the lead in establishing strong engineering team and, along with the Head of Product – product organization that will take the product from concept through to Market. As such the right candidate is expected to be self-directing, with strong attention to detail on every level. The candidate will be expected to be individual contributor (design and coding) as well as be a team leader – establish a team of engineers under their direction.

    Funciones:

    • Tomar decisiones de arquitectura, aplicando los diferentes patrones de diseño y buenas prácticas de código (TDD, BDD, Principios Solid).
    • Participación y toma de decisiones en aspectos como la arquitectura a desarrollar, stack a utilizar, redefinir APIs o el modelo de datos.
    • Participar en la contratación de los nuevos perfiles así como en la gestión de dicho equipo humano, motivación, formación y orientación hacia las mejores prácticas de desarrollo
    • Participar en la definición de las normas de ejecución de proyectos y metodologías de trabajo en colaboración con el CTO, control de costes, seguimiento de los hitos, entrega de documentación y aseguramiento de la calidad en las entregas.
    • Participar en el seguimiento de los KPI y cumplimiento de objetivos que se definan desde la Dirección de la empresa. Colaborar en la definición de los objetivos de los proyectos. Seguimiento de la ejecución por parte de los partners externos, garantizando cumplimiento hitos, entrega de documentación y seguimiento de la facturación. Identificar oportunidades de mejora, revisar documentación técnico/funcional cuando proceda y aportar soluciones que garanticen el éxito de los proyectos.

    Requisitos

    • Fuerte voluntad de adherirse a las mejores prácticas en el desarrollo de software y la necesidad de dejar un código limpio y bien estructurado
    • Apasionado por el software que se preocupa por crear un código limpio y de calidad.
    • Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
    • Experiencia en metodologías TDD y DDD.
    • Experiencia dirigiendo y motivando equipos técnicos
