About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team focused on medical devices.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning within our organization.


You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting (complex) data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations for our medical device business.


Your Responsabilities:

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources, including internal databases, external market research reports, and industry publications. Analyze and interpret this data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the medical device industry.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify opportunities and assess market potential for our medical device products. Stay updated with industry trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes that may impact our business.

Guide into tooling within our Commercial Department (CRM,..)

Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to our medical device business. Present findings to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner.

Forecasting and Demand Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to develop accurate sales forecasts and demand plans for medical devices. Utilize historical data, market trends, and predictive modeling techniques to support decision-making and optimize inventory management.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track the performance of our medical device products against established goals and objectives. Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to understand the positioning of our medical device products in the market. Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) to guide product development, pricing strategies, and market penetration efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance, to provide insights and recommendations for product development, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data used for analysis and reporting. Develop and implement data governance policies and processes to maintain data quality standards.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven 4 year ́s experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficient use of English and Spanish language.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations, healthcare systems, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
