    IS Business Partner - Finance

    Sibelco is a worldwide material solutions company. Operating over 110 production sites in 31 countries with a team of over 5,000 individuals, we specialize in mining, processing, and distributing industrial minerals such as silica, clays, feldspathics, and olivine. Additionally, we are at the forefront of glass recycling.

    Join us at the Bilbao HQ Office.

    The IS Business Partner Lead plays a crucial role as the connection between business and IT, serving as the strategic interface for assigned business functions. Responsibilities include conducting business analyses, implementing process changes, offering expert advice, project management, and developing impactful business cases to drive strategic outcomes.

    This position may require office presence two to three days a week, ensuring proximity to the office location.

    Key responsibilities as IS Business Partner:

    • Act as the liaison between business and IT for designated functions.
    • Contribute to business strategy definition and propose growth projects proactively.
    • Manage IT demand ensuring value-added solutions.
    • Define IT roadmaps & plans.
    • Supervise financials within authorized limits.
    • Coordinate and oversee projects.
    • Lead and support teams to drive success.

    Qualifications for IS Business Partner Lead:

    • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 8 years in functional business environments and related IT systems.
    • Understanding of industrial minerals industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of Sibelco processes, products, and markets.
    • Proficient in finance principles, with strong analytical skills.
    • Self-motivated team player with proactive approach.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish.
