Mission:

The Structured Finance Middle Office division plays a key role in the success of SG CIB's activities. Our teams work closely with major market players (international clients, banks, clearing houses, regulators).

They ensure the quality and reliability of the operations that the bank executes on behalf of clients around the world, in compliance with international regulations and the highest ethical standards.

Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Middle officer risk management for mainly leverage finance, Real state, your main responsibilities will be:

  • The control, supervision and monitoring of deals for risk matters (at closing and post-closing)
  • A proactive risk monitoring of transactions (reviews, covenants monitoring, collaterals monitoring, key risks indicators)
  • A proactive management of risk events (waivers, amendments, defaults)
  • A timely warning & advice to Business lines in Madrid and Frankfurt and Risk in Paris (covenant breach, watchlist, provisions)
  • A proactive Advisory Agency Management in Madrid and Frankfurt, with function dedicated by BL to be the gobetween client and syndicate at all stages of the deals

Profile required:


Studies & experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Risk Management matters, previous experience in Banking and/or audit firms will be highly valuable

Language skills:


  • Fluency in German, English and Spanish
  • French would be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze collection data and cash flows
  • Financial Modelling is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. He/She must communicate clearly and effectively with clients (In Spain and Frankfurt but not only) and Team members at all levels in Madrid, Paris and Frankfurt
  • Able to work in different projects simultaneously, he /she must be able to organize and manage their time under supervision of a senior manager
