Mission and main objectives:

AD/ADAS (Autonomous Drive) functions performance evaluation, analysis and judgement, by means of Field validation tests (mileage accumulation) for all projects within AMIEO Region.
Next technology and market trend analysis, relative to real world driving conditions road condition, driving condition, customer usage, etc. Feedback to NML.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Plan and execution of all testing according to Nissan standards. Creation, follow, execution and reporting of CADICS lists for the projects assigned.
Creation of technical reports for each and all testing activities carried out.
Plan and execution of all related tasks to AD/ADAS FVT for new Projects: Make validation plan including vehicles, test routes, parts and equipment and execute validation tests

Summary of main actions:
Prepare and define route for the activity, considering the parameters to be analyzed

To control that the specification and SW level on the vehicle are the required ones

Verification of the safety and confidentiality of the test vehicle

During the field test, to control any incidence and communicate to the responsible engineer

For the evaluation itself, to be responsible for the issue memo to grant high quality information sharing to ease data analysis

To prepare daily report of the activity (route, mileage, summary of concerns, weather, recommendations, )

To share from hotel the data as requested by NTCE Engineer (usually using Nissan Box sharing platform)

To manage and execute Benchmarking test to understand competitor performance.
To standardize evaluation method for these new systems in

EUR:
Make NML procedures adaptation for EUR market requirement.

To report and coordinate with other section.
To efficiently manage section resources to achieve objectives.
To support for next AD systems evaluation with NML. (Vehicle preparation, propose PG routes, etc)

Background and experience:

University degree or equivalent in Engineering.
Good capacity to work autonomously and have new ideas to implement in the validation tests.
Good capacity to solve problems and find solutions crossfunctionally if required.
Good knowledge of Nissan AD/ADAS systems architecture and specs.
Knowledge of vehicle chassis control system, dynamic performance, Vehicles parts and CAN network.
Good ability to make and execute a plan.
Preferred vehicle evaluation experience. B1 driving license or equivalent.
Preferred some measurement system operation experience of vehicle test

(example:

Canape/Canalyzer/DDT2000/V-Box/RT-range, etc). Good level of MS Excel.
