Mission and main objectives:


The upcoming European emissions standards include the need to monitor emissions in real time to ensure continuous emissions performance in the real world.

Real-time data on tailpipe emissions performance are required to be collected via an electronic control unit to complete the monitoring status and analysis in the necessary post-processing routines.


Your role will be to lead the development of the tools and models necessary to meet the requirements of On-board Monitoring (OBM) and perform their subsequent post-treatment.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

Development of calibration in the OBM area for Nissan and Alliance engines in current and future projects.
Knowledge of the current emissions regulations and the expected EURO 7 regulation.
Knowledge of the powertrains systems used by Nissan and the alliance.
Knowledge of engine dyno, roller bench and PEMS measurement equipment's.
Interface with outsourced testing and service providers.
Development of new methodologies and models for emission control.
Improvement of calibration development and testing processes.
Analysis and posttreatment of the data collected by the control unit.
Report in project control milestones.


Background and experience:


Preferable:
Master level in Engineering.


Essential:
previous experience in engine calibration development.


Essential:
High level of English.

Good knowledge of MS Office and calibration tools (Inca, Concerto, MDA, DDT2000).
Good knowledge of Matlab-Simulink and programming languages (Matlab, Python, Visual Basic, etc).
Cross-cultural and cross-functional communication, problem solving ability.
Good teamwork. Flexible and pragmatic with self-motivation skills.
Autonomy to take decisions and make proposals.
Availability to travel worldwide.
