We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial GM for our latest venture: a Web3-focused Corporate Venture Builder.

The venture is a new business founded by Byld along with seasoned experts, corporations, and very well-recognizedWeb3-focused investors in the Web3 world.

About #Web3ventures

#Web3ventures is part of a holding solely dedicated to Web3, made out of 3 parts: a digital assets fund, a Venture Capital, and a Corporate Venture Builder. We aim to bring to life the most innovative ideas in the Web3 space, providing funds and guidance, as well as the necessary team and methodology to evolve an idea from a concept to reality.

How do we make it happen?

Our founders are highly experienced in the Web3, blockchain, digital assets, and blockchain ecosystem having been part of it for more than 10 years, delivering a broad number of projects for a wide range of multi-industry clients.

In addition to this, in order to provide the necessary methodology and experience, they partnered with Byld, the first CVB in Spain, to create innovative Web3 ventures.

About the Job

We are looking for an entrepreneurial business leader with experience in building companies, managing complex technological projects and operating companies. Preferably with certain exposure to Web3-crypto, growth, technology, and finance. A digital-first professional with experience in scaling up a company internationally and a management track record.

Responsibilities

As a GM, you will:

Establish people-centric business strategies for our ventures, fusing the practices of design and strategy to structure the business impact of design at a strategic, operational, and organizational level.

• Be responsible for the quality of every phase of the venture building process: insights, labs, and ventures, leading the builders to go the extra mile in every step they do.
• Manage business & operations strategy and execution.
• Establish a clear company vision and direction and define the overall strategy ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
• Build and manage a motivated team through an outstanding culture.
• Assemble teams for high-impact Web3 ventures.
• Develop and execute strategies as you gain new insights.
• Driving growth, profitability, company value as well as day-to-day operations.
• Manage our company's position in the overall industry by partnership building and continuous market research on competitors.
• Be the public face for #Web3ventures.
• Manage revenue, expenses, and external financing to maintain the consistent growth of the business.
• Owning the operational budget and managing burn rate.
• Keep the Board of Directors (Byld + #Web3ventures) informed on progress on strategic goals.
• Establish and take full ownership of the Go-To-Market plan and execution.
• Spot risks to new product lines or sales channels and develop relevant responding plans.
• Help with all technical issues raised by our clients, negotiating solution plans.
• Update marketing data gathering new business intelligence.

• You have experience hiring and retaining a good team.
• You have empathy. You're a good guy (that's something really important and directly related to the success of our ventures).
• You feel aligned with leadership by example. Able to motivate, inspire and create an inclusive and positive work environment for all. Experience leading a team, with willingness to invest in coaching and development of your team members.
• You hold exceptional communication and organizational skills. Able to communicate and listen effectively; great written, verbal and presentation skills in both Spanish and English is a must.
• You have knowledge of the Web3 industry or prior experience in other venture builders or as a founder of similar nature startups.
• You possess knowledge of the Web3 market's structure and who are the leading players.
• Passion for trends and innovations in tech and particularly Web3 (DeFi, NFT, tokenization, Metaverse, DAOs, etc.
