    Tasks

    As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be integral to the team dedicated to enhancing Tether's backend components.

    New Products and Features - Tether continually pushes the boundaries to introduce innovative features, providing customers with a top-tier trading experience. These enhancements are developed and implemented using agile methodologies to ensure that the user experience remains unparalleled in the industry.

    Scalability - All backend services supporting Tether must maintain seamless, responsive, and real-time operations to cater to the platform's expanding user base effectively.

    Security - Upholding rigorous security standards is paramount. The Backend Development team is tasked with constructing all services and core processes with the highest security practices to safeguard the entire user community.

    Requirements

    • Exceptional Node/JavaScript proficiency
    • Familiarity with microservices architecture
    • Active involvement in the development of a sophisticated platform
    • Understanding of Peer-to-Peer technologies
    • Solid experience in database interaction (MySQL, MongoDB)
    • Rapid adaptability to new technologies
    • Thorough grasp of security protocols
    • Extensive expertise in:
      -Data structures (binary trees, linked lists, graphs)
      -Distributed applications: distributed hash tables
      -Programming networking stacks: UDP/TCP libraries, crafting data packets.

    Nice to have

    • Background in blockchain integration
    • Familiarity with high-availability concepts
    • Proficiency in Ruby, Rust, or C++ is advantageous
    • Interest in other technologies such as Message queues (Redis), Caches, and Job Queues
