About the job

As RHI Magnesita's Junior General Ledger Accountant, you will report directly to the Record to Report Services Process Leader. Your primary role involves managing the day-to-day operations of global accounting transactional activities and overseeing internal control processes within the company's accounting framework. Other key responsibilities will include supervising the work of an outsourced third-party accounting service provider and collaborating closely with the finance team and other Global Shared Services (GSS) teams.

In addition, your tasks will include

• IFRS15 management, closing activities, error handling, and housekeeping (among others)
• Journal entries and recurrent entries management
• Month-end closing and year-end closing activities
• Monthly reporting
• Audit support

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

• A university degree in the field of Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar areas
• SAP knowledge & advanced Excel skills

Languages

• English – Advanced (mandatory)
• Any other language is considered an asset

Work Experience

• First working experience ideally in accounting
• Knowledge of the accounting cycle and experience with service level agreements (SLA)
