About the job
At RHI Magnesita, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Purchase to Pay department. In this role, you will report directly to the Accounts Payable Line Leader.

Your main area of responsibility will be the processing and posting of vendor invoices and credit card statements, as well as the reconciliation of outstanding items in the accounts payable subsidiary ledger.

In your daily tasks, you will verify the legal requirements of the invoices for assigned legal entities, process vendor invoices, obtain invoice approvals through workflow, and assign them to the appropriate purchase orders and account assignments.

As such, you will not only gain insight into the inner workings of RHI Magnesita, but you will also get the chance to work cross-functionally with departments such as General Ledger, Treasury, Procurement, and Tax within an international environment.

In addition, your tasks will include

Process vendor invoices using Tangro (OCR & approval system) and SAP
Customs/tax posting
Credit card statement posting
Reconciliation of the payables subledger
Resolution of supplier and internal stakeholders' queries

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & skills

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or similar areas
Excel skills would be considered an asset

Languages

English
Proficient/Fluent
Any other language is considered an asset

Work Experience

First relevant professional experience
Knowledge in accounting would be considered an asset
SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
