    The Services Customs Operations Leader plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of Service parts globally. Cepheid provides a stimulating learning environment every day, offering you the chance to build your career and enhance your skills in the long run.

    This role is within the Global Services Logistics Team based in Barcelona, Spain. Our vision at Cepheid is to become the primary provider of connected diagnostic solutions.

    Key responsibilities in this position:

    • Ensure swift resolution of import/export requests to prevent supply chain disruptions.
    • Manage the impact of Customs Laws and Regulations, Customs Processes and Procedures, Tariff Classification, Rules of Origin, Customs Valuation, and Customs Declarations for Cepheid's services worldwide.
    • Ensure 100% compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies, encompassing internal procedures, government regulations, and customer requirements.
    • Review and authorize shipping documents and commercial invoices.
    • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset: identify operational gaps and suggest enhancements to streamline processes.

    Key qualifications for this role:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, International Trade, or Supply Chain.
    • Expertise in international trade regulations.
    • Sound understanding of incoterms and their impacts on supply chain and logistics.
    • Over 5 years of practical experience in cross-border operations, with strong connections to regulatory bodies in specific regions/countries.
    • Effective interpersonal skills, including excellent listening, comprehension, and clear communication abilities to achieve positive outcomes.

    • Customs brokerage
    • Finance
    • Customer Service
