    The Role

    • We are searching for a motivated individual to join the Communication and PR Department at CRG as an intern, focusing on supporting event organization
    • You will contribute to enhancing CRG's reputation and promoting the scientific findings of CRG researchers through the organization of scientific events aimed at various audiences
    • Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and organizing innovative scientific events to showcase CRG's research in life sciences and biomedicine
    • You will work under the guidance of the CRG Events Officer

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing, managing, and coordinating scientific events
    • Organize internal social events
    • Collaborate in the organization of institutional events, meetings, and visits
    • Disseminate scientific sessions and conferences through marketing campaigns
    • Manage financial aspects, delegate registration, and logistics for events
    • Seek funding and sponsorship opportunities

    About the Department

    • The Communications & PR Department aims to promote and protect CRG's reputation by engaging with various audiences and stakeholders
    • The department focuses on Open Science and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI)
    • You will work closely with team members covering press, outreach, and institutional communications

    What We Are Looking For:

    • Must Have:
      - Experience in organizing international events
      - Fluent in English
      - Eligible for internship
    • Desirable/Nice to Have:
      - Event organization experience
      - Background in scientific research
    • Education:
      - Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Event Management, or relevant experience
    • Languages:
      - Proficiency in English and Spanish, knowledge of Catalan is a plus
    • Technical Skills:
      - Advanced MS Office skills
      - Familiarity with Drupal CMS
    • Competences:
      - Strong organizational skills
      - Excellent communication and presentation abilities
      - Proactive and problem-solving mindset
      - Passion for event coordination

    The Offer - Working Conditions
    - Contract Duration: Minimum 9-month internship
    - Estimated Salary: Competitive based on qualifications
    - Start Date: 1st September 2024
