    The Job

    We are currently seeking a Software Developer Engineer in Testing (SDET) who possesses technical expertise in software for QA & Testing projects. As a Software Developer Engineer, your primary responsibilities will involve closely collaborating with local and development teams to devise, implement, and execute efficient quality assurance processes for our industrial software applications. Your role will entail ensuring product quality, identifying and reporting issues, and contributing to the delivery of top-notch software products to our customers.

    What is this all about?

    • Test Planning and Execution
    • Develop and carry out test plans, test cases, and test scripts for industrial software applications.
    • Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to validate product functionality and performance.

    Test Automation

    • Create and maintain automated test scripts to optimize and elevate the testing process.
    • Deploy and run automated test suites for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

    Defect Identification and Reporting

    • Detect and document software defects and issues, ensuring precise and comprehensive bug reports.
    • Engage with development teams to monitor and resolve reported defects.

    Quality standards and continuous improvement

    • Ensure compliance with established quality standards and best practices.
    • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of quality assurance documentation.
    • Continuously assess and refine QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

    Collaboration

    • Collaborate closely with software development and HMI teams to grasp product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Take part in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and review meetings.

    Your profile

    Who are you?

    • Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automated testing.
    • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, with a proven track record in Git, Azure DevOps, and specflow.
    • Solid background in object-oriented programming (C# and C++).
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile team environments.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proficiency in English.
    • Willingness to travel across Europe.
