  • We are looking for a talented, and highly motivated engineer who will be responsible of assuring the quality of the manufacturing processes. Come join a team of deeply knowledgeable engineers that strive to build the most robust and reliable motion control systems using cutting edge development tools and practices. The select engineer will be focused on collaborate in the design, implementation, and verification of INGENIA manufacturing processes.
  • The position requires good multidisciplinal skills including but not limited to Hardware, Software and Mechanics but also a deep understanding of the physics underlying in the motion control technology.
  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain the EndofLine Testing (EOLT) tools running on INGENIA manufacturing processes.
  • Continuous improvement of the tools using the information coming from the batches yield reports.
  • Work closely with hardware team to help with component alternatives selection. Review hardware schematics and datasheets if needed.
  • Work closely with hardware & firmware team during new product development to clarify manufacturing process and possible risks (PFMEA)
  • Creation of Return Material Authorization (RMA) diagnostic process.
  • Review and improve internal documentation for INGENIA manufacturing processes (Workflows, working instructions, tools manuals, etc.).
  • Define, in conjunction with Quality Assurance team, the Test Plans for INGENIA EOLT Tools.
  • Required Experience and Education
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or technical related discipline.
  • Minimum experience 1 year.
  • Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with PCB / PCA manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Electronic circuit technology design and assembly processes.
  • Experience with hardware bringup and troubleshooting. Understand schematics and use of lab. instruments is a must.
  • Knowledge of EMIs.
  • Experience in software fundamentals including software design and maintainability.
  • Very strong Python knowledge.
  • Experience in 3D Mechanics design (Solidworks or similar).
  • Experience in testing procedures.
  • Expertise with GIT, Jenkins, JIRA and other software development tools
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish / English.
  • Nice to have requirements:
  • General Motion control knowledge (motors types, feedbacks, controls, etc.).
  • Industrial communication protocols (CANopen, EtherCAT).
  • Previous experience in motion control, robotics, lab or medical automation markets will be highly appreciated.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment
  • Travel Requirements
  • Occasionally travel as needed (domestically and internationally) to suppliers for support and/or installation of tools.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
  • Ability to use vison to read computer screen and read printed materials.
