As a Corporate Route Manager, you will become target market expert assigned to region of Sub-Saharan Africa. Your customers will be agents/freight forwarders and your mission to bring market intelligence, analyze risk and identify opportunities. You can benefit from international interactions and grow your professional network as well as geographical expertise.

You will be a part of our Global Network Development team and your new colleagues and superior (Corporate Director GND) are ready to coach and develop you.

You can be based anywhere in Spain, Portugal, France or Africa This would be full-time remote option for you with extensive travel to the Sub Saharan region of Africa.

What you ́ll be doing:


  • You will contact new agents and introducing and offering cargopartner worldwide services
  • Air, Sea, Road, Rail, Logistics
  • You will manage an agent portfolio, onboard new agents and make sure that agents have adequate and updated product knowhow
  • You will perform business development activities through managed agents
- sell our products to the agents and encourage them to sell further to their customers

  • You might also act as a liaison between cargopartner and agents where the situation requires mediation
  • Along the way you will monitor sales results and agents' performance in terms of profitability
  • You will be responsible for the risk management and payment term agreements related to the managed agents portfolio
  • You will ensure the managed agents are known and visible within the company, and you will be responsible for the internal communication aspect
  • You will be our expert on the assigned geographical area: local knowledge, relevant industries and their trends, competitors in the market, key and target accounts

What are we looking for?:


  • Trained professional with a proven track record within International business development as well as freight forwarding industry
  • Established network of agents contacts within the Sub Sahara geography, to develop and enhance new and existing relationships
  • Expert knowledge on the Sub Sahara geography
  • A true hunter, and sales sniper
