What is the position?

In this business critical position you would be developing our strategic setup, implementation and commercial development for the Air, Sea and Road Product with a special focus on the medium term development.

This includes a P+L responsibility directly relevant to the respective product. Your main focus areas are the product development, procurement and business controlling.

As Regional Product Manager, you would be the key execution arm of the Corporate Product Management and crucial for translation and execution of Corporate strategies, targets and plans in to the operational entities.

Function responsibilities:

Sets and communicates product targets (in regards to Trade Lane, Consolidation Strategy and priorities of the Product development) within its own region
Defines the rules of routing & handling procedures, within the WEU region, especially in regards to communication lines and Hub/Gateway strategy execution, as well as oversees the compliance of these rules
Owns and oversees the annual budgeting process for Product within WEU region, including goal setting for country product budgets
Performs own selling activities as part of management sales, targeting strategic opportunities
Solution design for potential regional/national key accounts
Sets and evaluates individual objectives and performance targets for the NPMs in alignment with Country Managers Analyzes the regional market and consults the strategically important agents in order to develop, in alignment with the CPM, new product solutions and market entry opportunities

Leadership responsibilities:

Coaches, mentors and develops own team members.
Performs continuous check and update of subordinates' job specific knowhow, suggesting and delivering trainings when needed and transmitting this information to corporate Training & Quality Management to enable complete and thorough training and onboarding plans.
Responsible for the compliance of department ́s employees with the company rules and regulations.
Maintains and encourages transparent and open communication within own team, fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity.
Supports HR/Talent Acquisition on any open roles that fall within the teams led by the RPM
