Job) Overview:

The company seeks to hire a resourceful, driven, and organised Senior Associate to support the Business Development team and contribute to the growth of TerraCycle in Europe with a core focus on the French market.

The position is based in Perivale, West London and reports to and work closely with a Business Development Manager.
***
The Senior Business Development Associate will join a team of 11 Business Development Managers and Associates, working closely with all team members. This position is focusing on selling Recycling partnerships on the Business to Consumer channel.

Responsibilities include:
Develop TerraCycle's French market expansion strategy by identifying potential brand

partners who need waste solutions for their products and packaging

Identify industries and verticals, build and execute the outreach strategy

Create and pitch deal presentations and proposals

Drive the sales process and negotiations up until signature of contract, including for

complex opportunities

Close new partnerships and drive revenue on the European Market

Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to develop strategic projects or

improve internal processes

Represent and promote TerraCycle during external events and workshops

Training and mentoring junior members of the Business Development team

Other duties as needed

Requirements:


Fluent in French and English

Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales role with a great understanding of sales processes

A degree in an appropriate field (sales, administration) or equivalent work experience is desired

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment with changing priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint)

A problem solver capable of thinking outside the box

Solid team player who can collaborate cross-functionally
