Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer/Project Manager with which to collaborate on a project basis for clients of our luxury real estate company.

As such, you will undertake real estate luxury design projects on a freelance basis with VDB.

You will be responsible from end to end on each project, from conceptual development and commercial proposal to executing and delivering on the design, passing by negotiations with partners and providers.

Ultimately, your goal will be to fully grasp clients' expectations and to fulfill those while making sure to deliver on profit targets established per project.

More specifically, these will be your responsibilities:

You will undertake real-estate-related design project from concept to completion
You will get to know your client, his tastes and what she/he is trying to achieve
You will interpret and translate customer needs into a commercial offer which you will present to the client following VDB's approval on expected profit and fees
You will follow up on your commercial proposal with a structured project management plan with deadlines, ownerships and roles and responsibilities, including project timelines, and a clear view on costs
You will build a financial model to track costs and targets, hire the resource needed (if applicable)
You will take exact measures of the space on site and produce renders to clarify its use
You will research and decide on materials and products sourcing, produce "sample" and "mood products"
You will be responsible for your projects until they are completed

**Who you are: - We are looking for an 'all-round' designer with an eye for detail, creative flair and the ability to take on a project and project manage it while bringing it through all stages of design from concept to completion.

You will have an exceptional portfolio demonstrating your creativity and a strong background in Residential Interior Design and Project Management.
You will be well organized and presentable at all times, with good communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive, hardworking, 'can do' attitude.
You are willing to meet deadlines on a consistent basis, producing highquality work regularly.
You speak fluent English (written and spoken) and Spanish.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Required_
2+ years' experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
Proven working experience and expertise in project layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
Experience of working within a variety of sectors, ideally luxury residential
A confident team player
Excellent facetoface and written communications
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at the same time
Proven project and pitch experience through excellent portfolio of previous works
Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
Communication and presentation skills
Basic commercial & negotiation skills and willingness to reach targets
Competency in creating weekly reporting and tracking progress
Project management skills
Competency in excel, word, powerpoint or google suite equivalent
