The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Excellence & Omnichannel Deployment with a dotted line to the Global Head of Marketing, you will expand the capabilities of our commercial (sales, marketing, KAM, and other) country, regional & global teams for superior performance today and in the future, considering the evolution of the pharmaceutical commercial model.
Identify the capabilities relevant to top performance (utilizing evidence if possible) and instill them in the organization by developing the future commercial role profiles, integrating them in the recruitment, training, development, and performance management processes, and measuring our progress over time.
Responsible for the end-delivery of superior capabilities that influence the commercial success of the organization.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here is how the Head of Global Commercial Capabilities role will make an impact:
- Identify capabilities and develop profiles for the Commercial roles of the future (sales rep, marketer, digital marketer, KAM, other)
- Roadmap to improve capabilities ensuring performance maximization today & movement towards the future. Alignment with all relevant functions (HR, Sales Training, Marketing Training, Segments & Regions, IT, OCE, Brand Equity & Marketing teams, Sales Excellence Leads)
- System to measure success (in capabilities) and to correlate capabilities with evidence
- Learning Systems & Operational Support
- Salesforce training
- Content: Selling Model, Sales Management & Coaching, Selling Process & Systems
- Process, the leadership of sales trainers, training the trainers
- Marketing Training
- Content & Process (train the trainers and some key teams), Operationalize & Facilitate Brand Equity Training
- Ensure alignment of marketing/sales/strategy
- CIT
- Assess Innovation in training & capability building and implement meaningful solutions
