Having successfully extracted value from Big Data and Machine Learning for some time now, we are now aiming to standardize and streamline the entire D&A process. Role Description

We are on the lookout for a Data Governance Specialist to assist the Data Governance Manager in rolling out the data governance plan for our D&A project. The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for categorizing the company's data assets, creating the business glossary, and overseeing the entire data lifecycle at a regional level. Timely and top-notch delivery of these responsibilities is crucial for the success of our D&A aspirations.

This position is open for candidates located in the UK, Spain, France, or Italy, with ample opportunities for remote work.

Key Objectives

• Grasp the significant datasets at a regional level, understanding their importance to local operations and usage
• Assist in instituting processes at a regional level to manage the complete data lifecycle
• Keep local stakeholders (e.g., Data Owners) informed about progress in data governance

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that regional data meets the business requirements and aligns with the strategic direction
• Oversee data cataloging and documentation at a regional level
• Engage proactively with Data Owners to implement data projects aligned with business endeavors
• Bridge the gap between Business and Technology to facilitate a shared 'data' understanding across the organization

Desired Skill Set

• Results-driven individual with a focus on business objectives
• Prior experience in an Agile environment
• Proficiency in Spanish (C1 level) and English (B1 level)
• Residing in Seville
