Where does the mind resides?...

Where does the mind resides?...

1ae5d757.jpg

Hello bees, yesterday afternoon I finally saw the movie "Blade Runner 2049", and just in the morning I had been reading my eternal book that I never finished reading "Singularity is close" by Ray Kurzweil. This is undoubtedly an explosive mixture for a hyperactive mind like mine, but if you add to all this, the fact that one day before I read something about "where the mind resides", and a theory that speaks of "mental delocalization" (to put it another way), and that we are already beginning to see.

We are heading towards a world and a society where at the level of software, hardware, systems, and data processing, physical "local" devices (computers, mobile phones, smart clocks, etc.) will be nothing more than mere interfaces (connecting devices), which will interact with us and with other devices, so that in the very near future they will be mere emitters and receivers of waves, and with a very limited data processing capacity, since this too will be "done in the cloud", and externally to the computer or mobile device, with technologies that already exist today such as cloud computing, and still in diapers.

We will no longer need large "local" machines, the computers will be very limited, as everything will run externally, so it will not be necessary to have a large RAM memory, or a large processor, or practically nothing, so it will not consume large amounts of energy, and so we will reach what I saw yesterday in "Blade Runner 2049".

5G networks will have a thousand times the capacity of today's mobile networks. 5G will lead us to live in a fully connected society.

The 5G networks will be the inter-relationship systems of the future and will enable a society in continuous connection. These nearly infinite coverage and capacity systems (compared to current systems) will make time and distance purely circumstantial and virtually irrelevant. We will live in a fully connected society, not only among people but also with the objects that surround them and the objects themselves.

Material supports (hardware) for this technology range from Google Glasses, to chips that could be implanted in the person, or helmets whose interface will interact directly with the brain.

The communication system will be similar to the "sense translators" for the disabled who, by means of probes, transform an image into electrical impulses so that it can be captured by the blind.

Users will thus be able to overcome today's augmented reality systems, and go a step further, since it will not be necessary to remove the phone book from the mobile phone, the phone book will be in us, and we could make a call just by wanting to do so, for example.

Many of you will wonder where this will lead us, and the truth is that I don't know, the possibilities are infinite, but for me the "million-dollar question" is: what can be the starting point of all this?

Again, I must tell you that I do not know either, but there is something disturbing that has been on my mind for a long time now, and as I said at the beginning of this article, it is about the delocalisation of the mind'.

The reality is that, to this day, we do not know many of the processes that our brain performs, and even more so our mind, the mind itself could well be the result of all the processes that our brain performs, so "unique, personal and                   non-transferable"...

Unless...

The brain is nothing more than an "interface" that is in connection, let's say "quantum", with something external (it could be the Universe), and wherever all the knowledge is, and the information we have, so to speak, the Universe (or whatever) could well be "our cloud", and our brain would be our computer, and connection device, and to give you a real piece of data, I will tell you that today's reality (what I know), we do not really know where human beings store their memories, and it may not be the brain, since there are cases of heart transplants and other organs, which along with the new organ, also acquired memories and personal experiences of the donor's life of that organ.

Now it's your turn bees... It doesn't have to be like I thought, spontaneously and hyperactively, but “stranger things” have been seen.

A hug for everyone, and thank you so much for reading and supporting me, no one has better followers.
