Technological development and the implementation of technological projects

During the development of a technological project, various circumstances may occur that alter the correct planning of the different parts of the project.

In such a way that a development that is planned as “simple” becomes more complex and tedious than expected, whether due to team issues, technical issues not foreseeable in the development or other relevant issues that may affect it.

To avoid this type of incident, in the technological field, multiple tools can be used that help with traceability and check that everything is going according to the standards set in time.

For this there are various technologies, both open source and proprietary. In the free software section, we can find the following, most notable, with their characteristics:

• OpenProject: includes timeline management, workpackages, document management, Wikis, News and Forums for collaboration and there are plugins for cost management or agile methodologies such as SCRUM
• ProjectLibre: is a fork of Open Project (a fork of the original project) under the CopyLeft license designed with the ambition of replacing Microsoft Project; It therefore has similar functionalities. It has been chosen among the 10 best Open Source projects of 2013.
• ProjectOpen: continuing with this hodgepodge of names, this tool differs from the previous ones in its approach to program and portfolio management (Enterpriser Project Management) in the line of Microsoft Project Server. It includes, in addition to the classic project management functionality, options for financial control, human resources management, customer relationship management or collaborative work and knowledge management. A truly complete tool  available to install on a local server or through the Cloud (SaaS, Software as a Service) at a cost that is not excessive.

On the other hand, the software, privately licensed:

• Asana: Software teams looking to take a step further in their procedures focused on the agile model know that Asana is not the right tool to achieve their objectives. In contrast, Jira Software comes standard with out-of-the-box features fully compatible with agile methodology, a real-time release monitoring system, and many more options.
• AzureDevOps: Unlike Azure DevOps, Jira Software supports all types of development environments, so no member of the software team will be forced to use a tool they don't want to use.
• Basecamp: If you want your software team to perform their planning, monitoring, and publishing tasks adopting the scrum methodology or using kanban boards, Basecamp is probably not the tool you are looking for.

All I have to say is that in this case, the definitions of the programs have been taken from other websites. Because I haven't been able to independently test each and every one of them.
