Fake social media accounts on beBee - Important announcement

Important changes on beBee

Our team is always ready to help you !

 

beBee is beting on quality content. We want to have the top quality platform. We will not allow fake profiles which are an usual problem on Social Media.

This is an important announcement. 

 

1.- We will not allow fake/false profiles on beBee. 
 

2.- Profiles without a personal picture will not have reach through hives/groups anymore.

3.- Profiles with a group picture or a non personal picture (pets, logos, etc) will be removed.

4.- We will not allow profiles as Brands. Instead, you have to create a hive/groups for your Brand.

 

5.- Articles/Stories on beBee Producer under 200 words will not be distributed through the hives.
 

6. Accounts using robots will be removed.

 

These are NOT allowed on beBee

 

1. Brands (Names&Logos) created as professional profiles. They will be inmediately removed.

2. Professional profiles with a logo as their profile picture.  They will be inmediately removed.


 

What is allowed ON beBee:

 

1.- Professionals

2.- Brands publishing - as HIVES/Groups - through their Brand Hives

 

Please, report "fake profiles" from their profile.

One thing you learn with blog posts is it is almost always important to get to the point as clearly and concisely as possible. Blog posts should be 2- 4-minute reads. A thing that is whipped into us in schooling in writing is stretching something out by adding or not eliminating unnecessary words is unacceptable. I like to think I have been whipped into shape by the best, but then--I'm biased. Loved my teachers.

Finally, you have come up with a great decision, because, these days, we can witness numerable fake accounts dominating the social networking platforms. Well, I literally changed my pic right as you were writing this and tagged me. I promise!! I never planned on keeping that cartoon pic for more than a week or so. But it is a good question regarding cartoon pics. My feeling is that they should be allowed as long as they are a picture of that person and not of Batman, Robin, or Wonderwoman.

This is wonderful! I quit accepting connection requests by profiles that didn't have a photo. I understand it may take a few days if someone is considering to join. This makes many of us happy, thank you Javier \ud83d\udc1d beBee! Note to self: Do not post that pic of Lisa that looks like an egghead LOL! ;-)

Just one question. Point 5 .. Do articles and stories under 200 words also include poems? Simply because programs cannot tell the difference and it would make thigs difficult for poetry submissions.

As informed to Federico \ud83d\udc1d \u00c1lvarez San Mart\u00edn I hope that the fake profiles mentioned in the email are acted against. Furthermore, it is requested to have a verification process prior to announcing an Ambassador. I was waiting for a long time for this post. It is a relief and it is motivating.
