After Its First Year, beBee’s Goal is to grow in the US.
The affinity networking site has reached over 10 million registered users around the world in its first year and is ready to swarm North America.
beBee continues to grow all around the world and has increased its presence in countries like Spain, Mexico, Brazil and The United States in the first year as a social network. It is precisely in the United States where beBee is going to make the biggest efforts in 2016-2017 and where it expects to repeat the results that it already had in the countries where it has an important presence.
Our goal for 2016-2017 is to continue engaging with users in the countries in which we already have a successful presence and to make a strong breakthrough in the United States, UK, Canada and Australia .
To boost its worldwide expansion, beBee is currently in negotiations with investment groups to reach an investment round.
The data regarding the investment process will be updated when possible.
beBee goes more social
All the updates and improvements the social network is going to offer along the year have two main goals: boost the network’s social side and help bees discover all the potential that beBee has to connect with like-minded people, without pushing aside the job searching part of the web, a feature that exists since the social network was launched.
You will be able to bookmark your favourite buzzes, hives and authors as STINGS. We’ll have our own video platform and it will be possible to upload videos in any format.
We want to be positioned as a relevant content repository, in which there is no room for duplicate content.
The social repository of content will makes sure that there is no duplicate buzzes. This means that when a user uploads a buzz that already existed on beBee, the site will recognize it and post it as a “shared buzz”, allowing users with similar interest to connect and increasing 3rd degree connections.
Italian and French languages
Along 2016, affinity networking has gained over 10 million users around the world . beBee is already avaliable in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French - and German will be ready in the next two weeks. Users will be able to translate any content from any language.

I used to buy all the crime magazines I could from the time I was about 12 yrs old on up. I still watch and research trials on TV trying to find fault with either the Prosecution theory or the defense. I feel so many people (and it's been proven) are locked up unjustly. i don't like the idea that we can convict a person based solely on circumstantial evidence. I need to hear about cold, hard facts. Interesting to hear that about LA vs. Harvard!!

debasish majumder, I am certain that team beBee are not just craving the U.S. Indeed bees from India already number close to 1 million and are a vital part of the community. From a strategic standpoint, the U.S. is a critical win as a win there get's you a tremendous amount of free global press coverage. But I am sure, in fact I know from having discussed Asia with Juan and Javier, that they are seriously discussing a strategy for Asia.

BeBee started with few pioneers who managed to attract early supports- the next step is crossing the chasm. Once done, beBee shall be a powerful body. Growing in the USA is a real chasm and with determination it shall happen soon.
#37 Just to experiment, I tried to share one of my buzzes and I got the message "Attention- you have already shared this buzz on three hives". So, I don't know if there is a secret way to share on more than three hives.
#34 The original author needs to act on it, not me. That is one major issue as sometimes I become reluctant to share to avoid my flooding with notifications. I think there is a notification setting, but I haven't used it and so I am unaware how helpful it is.
I may also add that sharing in more than three hives shall stagnate me with too many notifications. I am getting too many notifications to cater for all of them sometimes.
I agree with Jim Cody. There is a diffusion force (Get away force) in action. Once a hive gets too crowded, buzzes (molecules) shall force their way to less crowded hives. I might be writing a buzz on this.
