    As a Program Manager in the Amazon Devices OS organization, you'll be working with Product and Engineering teams on shaping the future of connected devices.

    You will be part of the Product team in Madrid and your focus will be to drive programs for the site and for the global Product team.

    This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about improvements and mechanisms, enjoys partnering with product and engineering teams, is excited about helping shape organizations, and has experience working on large scale projects.

    This role also requires a high degree of ownership, bias for action, and attention to details.

    Key job responsibilities
    You will be responsible for driving the product team mechanisms to increase the efficiency of the overall organization:

    • You'll own the mechanisms for the product team, including goals setting, roadmaps, reporting artifacts, etc.
    • You will own the product team communication to stakeholders and leadership, including our wiki, newsletter, launch announcements, etc.
    • You will own aggregating and organizing the customer data and insights coming from research, interviews, workshops, etc. for easy consumption of the product team and stakeholders.
    • You will own the product team calendar regarding internal/external events, workshops, partner meetings, etc. and will organize agenda and logistics when required.
    Additionally, Madrid is a key site for the DeviceOS org, and you will be responsible for coordinating and driving all the cross organization activities to keep our site healthy:

    • You'll partner with recruiting to coordinate our recruitment efforts and accelerate hiring velocity. You'll participate in the hiring plans and coordinate schedules. You'll work with Employer Branding to lead branding initiatives to attract talent.
    • You'll partner with HR to monitor organizational health metrics such as employee engagement, org design, Connections. You will coordinate with HR to drive initiatives on employee retention and talent reviews.
    • You will lead site reviews with our Devices OS leadership to report out on site health metrics, recruiting, and training. You will partner with other tech orgs across Madrid to merge efforts when priorities align.

    About the team
    The Amazon Devices org designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo.

    The Device OS team invents ways to help customers develop complex applications deployed on multiple device types. Developer experience ensures the software product is fully usable, well-designed, functional, and easy to navigate.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in program or project management
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
    • Experience leading process improvements
