THE ROLE

The Senior Finance Analyst position is a role within our newly set up Finance department, that will work alongside our sister agency's larger Finance department.

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Director, this role will be responsible for all Financial Analysis and reporting across the Locaria business, whilst making improvements to processes and reporting.


Working hours: 10am - 6 pm with 1 hour lunch break and hybrid working model (2 days in the office, 3 days at home)


Requirements:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis of all P&L line items from topline to bottomline with business drivers
  • Calculate accruals required, review with senior management and post into the system on a monthly basis
  • Reporting and analysis of monthly results in comparison with Budget/ Forecast/ LY
  • Monthly departmental reporting and review meetings with Department heads
  • Provide analysis and key drivers to central Finance team for Stagwell (parent Company) month end analysis queries
  • Support in preparation of monthly/quarterly forecast and annual Budget
  • Manage and report on monthly crosscompany charges, ensuring corresponding contracts for each agreement
  • Load forecast and budget data into HFM
  • Automation of existing reports and standardization and Support in development of new reporting
  • Assisting with finance system development and ongoing reviews to find efficiencies within current way of working
  • Support in the development of P&L and management reporting dashboards for the wider business

You will have the following core skills and abilities:

  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Naturally curious, with the ability to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo
  • International experience, used to dealing with Multi Currency transactions and remote international teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in financial modelling and financial analysis with at least 5 years experience in this area
  • Self motivated, great time manager and a team player
  • Confidence in dealing with all levels of stakeholders within the Business
  • Advanced Excel is preferred intermediate knowledge essential. Must be able to handle large volumes of data from the accounts system and interpret this data in excel
  • Thrives in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Ideally, nice to have experience in the below: - Familiarity with Hyperion and/or Maconomy preferred

  • Power BI/Tableau or similar
  • Qualified finance professional CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CFA or studying towards
  • Experience working in a client service industry
  • Experience with Google Sheets
