OUR DATA TEAM

  • Our strategic lead, which help us prioritizing our projects through her business knowledge and the company direction
  • The Data Tech Lead, who is on charge of scaling the team, setting work dynamics to improve the data team deliveries, along with taking care of the team members career development.
  • One Data Engineer, who help us integrating any new source into our Data Lake and structure our Data Warehouse.
  • Two Senior Data Analyst, one focused on front analytics and empowering marketing and product teams with data, and the other one focused on maximizing the revenue leading the strategy with data

THE ROLE - YOUR PASSION

  • As a Analytics Engineer, you'd be focused on building the datawarehouse, cleaning the data integrated into the DataWarehouse (Bigquery) using transformation tools (DBT) and plotting the results into a visualization tool (PowerBI and Metabase)
  • You must be a SQL genius, and masterize DBT in order to create the most scalable Datawarehouse that you have ever seen, building tests, optimizing code and keep uptodate with the last releases that could improve our development dynamics
  • You're driving the design of data products, consulting with other engineers, providing scalable solutions, following and creating best practices around coding and data modeling
  • You will need to understand the business in order to generate insights for several dashboards, having knowledge around PowerBI and complex DAX funtions
  • You will be supporting the empowerment of our roadsurfers with data, helping to create a data driven culture inside the company, through trainings an other dynamics, in order to turn our stakeholders more selfsufficient in getting the answer to their business questions by themselves.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SURF THE WAVE WITH US

  • You successfully finished your bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, physics, informatics, computer science or other STEM related areas.
  • You also have several +3 years of relevant experience as a analytics engineer or data engineer
  • You have advanced proficiency with SQL (Ideally BigQuery dialect) code and really good knowledge of PowerBI, understanding DAX and M language
  • You also have expertise on modern data stacks, modeling data from different sources such as Zendesk, Google Analytics and transactional databases
  • Bonus: knowledge in Airflow, Python and Google Cloud Platform (DataStream, DataTransfer, GCS...)
  • You are business fluent in English.
