We need to strengthen our team with a Area Sales Manager (f/m/d). You will be reporting to our National Head of Sales in Spain. We search for someone who fully sees the opportunities and advantages that Straumann Group offers our customers today. Who take full ownership in driving and develop the Area in alignment with the National Head of Sales. Our corporate culture is permeated by a player and learner mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate divisional and national sales strategies into operational plans in order to drive sales and meet and exceed targets.
  • Implement operational plans and priorities which align with the national sales strategy.
  • Plan, canvas and develop new business opportunities and initiate new sales concepts to maintain and expand market share.
  • Analyze and report on sales opportunities and achievements, and use data analyses to identify further opportunities
  • Motivate, manage and develop sales team to ensure achievement of predetermined targets for the company. Supervise sales team to develop customer account plans and monitor their performance. Provide ongoing training to sales team to better their selling skills.
  • Build strategic relationships with customers and other internal and external stakeholders through regular and ongoing communication.
  • Constantly evaluate and improve sales methods, in order to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Deliver sales presentations and proposals when required.
  • Work closely with marketing team to support the sales strategies.
  • Keep abreast of latest trends in sales effectiveness and adopt new approaches as required in order to expand customer base and increase revenue.
  • Special tasks or project as assigned by supervisor.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree of Medical Device/Pharmacy/Nurse/ Science fields or related field. Master is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years' sales experience in dental, medical or orthodontic with preferable 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse customer audiences.
  • Strong capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types.
  • Ability to train and manage sales staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and reach set deadlines
  • Attention to detail
