    Area description:

    Revenue Management & Collection teams play a crucial role in Amadeus by performing Consulting during contract negotiation (i.e, advice on new products pricing models), Contract management, implementation and follow up, Ordering for Travel Channels products, Billing and revenue recognition, Collection including negotiation of payment plans, Analysis on billing and collection, Internal and external partner support.

    Project description:

    The intern will be working for HMI under revenue management. The team is mainly dedicated to contract fulfillment duties for mobility, hospitality, insurance, rail, cruise, nexwave, Outpayce and non airline related contracts. The graduate will help with operational monthly activities related to contract fulfillment and billing. Also with other RM teams in cross functional tasks and will learn about what are the processes involved in month end and the Amadeus billing cycle.

    Accountabilities:

    • Gathering data, communication between team members, and external teams.
    • Compiling data from SAP, Power BI, QLIK etc.
    • Presenting findings to the team and to line managers.
    • Organizational skills to cover monthly meetings and gather information from team members to fulfill presentations.

    Learning:

    • Data entry in SAP.
    • Internal customer service, invoicing, month end deadlines and processes.
    • Organization of a revenue management and collection department in a technological company.
    • End-to-end billing process exposure. This includes generating invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery to clients.

    Requirements:

    • Excel to handle billing data and calculations.
    • Detail oriented and interested in learning.
    • Communication skills, no problem talking to anyone in the organization if needed be.
    • Proactive and positive minded.

    Please note that the duration of the internship will be 6 months and may be extended for an additional 6 months.
