We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer responsible for the development of the Connect platform within the CloudBlue solution.

Connect is a micro-service SaaS platform operating in the Cloud infrastructure which has API interaction, relational and non-relational databases, message broker exchanges, etc.

We are a growing distributed team primarily located in Barcelona with people in Sofia and Irvine CA. We are a diverse group of young and energetic engineers building the cutting-edge tech platform. What You'll Be DoingPrimarily building API and services in Python Developing and driving features from design to production Closely working with frontend engineers in small feature teams Collaborating with product management and other CloudBlue teamsWorking with your team and engineering manager to grow your careerWhat You Need5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer Fluency in Python with 3+ years of experience Hands-on experience with distributed systems API development and integration expert Advanced PostgreSQL and RDBMS knowledge Familiar with Docker & Docker Compose Basic understanding of the modern frontend tech Experience with IaC, CI/CD, monitoring and alerting Unit test expert Professional working proficiency in English languageNice To HaveDjango/DRF & FastAPI experience k8s or other orchestration solutions Kong API Gateway / Nginx Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP Experience with NoSQL like Mongo or Redis Hands-on RabbitMQ experience Multiple open source contributions or pet projects Expertise in debugging (PDB, etc.) Agile experience
