As an account manager, the employee assumes a wide client facing responsibility, including consulting, account management, and operational processing.

Further, the employee can be part of or contribute to projects, and it is expected that the employee contributes to product and software development.


The employee will function as an autonomous member of the team, accountable for the delivery of clients and assigned tasks to the designated clients.

You are responsible for further assisting, preparing, and executing tasks and duties, depending on my responsibilities for clients, projects, or other tasks.

The account manager provides consultative services for the client, bringing value through experience and specialised knowledge within the domain.


You will be assigned to a team that is accountable for providing expertise in accounting and financial reporting of share plans.


This position offers the opportunity for team members to collaborate directly with our clients, develop and enhance our software and services, and possess the potential to assume and oversee new responsibilities, thereby enabling them to excel and progress within the company.


This position will initially be responsible for managing clients using the Shareworks platform and also providing assistance in migrating to EquatePlus and EquatePyramid as part of our ongoing project to migrate clients through the acquisition of Solium Capital UK.


A role you will love
Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of accounting and financial reporting to clients, including account management, consulting, and operational processing.

Participate in the overall client management and participate in periodic update meetings with the client.

Prepare reconciliation, validation, and distribution of IFRS and US GAAP compliant accounting and disclosure reports for clients' share-based payment plans using both Shareworks prior to migration and EquatePyramid after migration:

  • Periodic update and configuration of client setup and accounting parameters is needed.
  • Provide expertise in financial reporting under IFRS and USGAAP related to share based compensation


Contributing to the development of the product by composing bug fix specifications, providing assistance in software development specifications, and carrying out quality assurance procedures.

Perform valuations and draft memos and documentation by option pricing models and complex Monte Carlo simulations models. The implementation of internal control and compliance checklists as required in accordance with internal procedures. Draft notes and supporting documentation as needed.


Assist with the preparation of client meetings or sales meetings/support, as well as participation in prospect workshops showing our capabilities and accounting expertise.

Assist with projects and other ad-hoc tasks related to our business.


The role holder will be required to coordinate and self-manage an assigned number of client inquiries, ensuring that quality standards and time constraints are continuously delivered to a high standard.

The impact related to product development will be part of an increase in the quality of work of team members.


What will you bring to the role?
Essential

  • Bachelor or Master degree in finance, accounting, industrial economics or related education
  • Experience from accounting, audit or similar
  • Recent graduates with strong interest in the field are encouraged to apply
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • High motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong operational, analytical and process understanding
  • Excellent Excel knowledge
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
Preferred

  • Knowledge of share plans would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of IFRS 2, IAS 12, IAS 33 or IAS 19 and/or related USGAAP standards would be an advantage
  • Shareworks knowledge
