- Developing and explicitly communicating the ProductGoal;
- Creating and clearly communicating Product Backlogitems;
- Ordering Product Backlog items; and,
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent,visibleand understood.
- Serve as the voice of the clientwithin the scrumteam
- Work with Product management andPrincipalArchitects in understanding Product roadmapgoals
- Own the team Backlog. Scope and define backlog items (EPICs to User Stories and tasks)
- Develop andmaintainan appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories forimplementation
- Resolve priority conflicts.
- Be the "Go to" person for any business or team relatedmatters
- Solvebusiness relatedproblems, make decisions,focus the team on the product goals. Avoid waste.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development oftheproduct.
- Take the lead during Planning events, Sprint plannings and scrumrituals
- Promote the understanding of scrum values and agile bestpractices
- Discuss,plan,and organize individual career development strategieswithdirectreports
- Manage personal and professional conflicts
- Manageholidays, sickleaves,and other absence events
- Conduct regular personal meetings with direct reports
- Manage annual evaluation process
- Drive various organizational initiatives and activities
- Manage escalations
- Support the recruitment and onboarding processes
- Mentor and support our technical staff
- Support the generation, management, and reporting of organizational KPI's
- Bring the company strategy to operations
- Bring organizational transparency through data points
- Drive resource planning processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor related field.
- Strong Product owner experience (5+ years)
- At least 5 years of people management (10+ people) experience
- Software engineering background is a significantplus
- Insurance experience/professional background isаconsiderableplus
- At least severalyears of experience in the IT industry
- Scrum/Agilerelevantcertification is aplus
- Solid understanding of SDLC
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
