Purpose of the Position

  • Process purchase orders and manage suppliers' deliveries in accordance with Production/Operations requirements, with ALSTOM guidelines and policies, and with the overall objectives of profitable grow through quality improvement.
  • Offer excellence in an organization focused on quality, costs, delivery and business environment.
  • Comply with the EHS regulations of the work center.

Responsabilities

  • Manage the availability of the materials.
  • Manage the shortages.
  • Manage the specific conditions for the suppliers.
  • Manage purchase documents for items and services, in GSI and in ARIBA for the department.
  • Manage notices of receipt for purchase orders.
  • Follow up exhaustively the orders to suppliers, in the GSI system and in other platforms, respecting the OTIF indicators.
  • Manage PO, for satisfy the OTIF indicator.
  • Manage the supply chain and its capacity. Provide support to eventual capacity audits.
  • Consolidate the demand of suppliers for the centers within the reach.
  • Support in possible crisis with suppliers.
  • Coordinate the deliveries and the gathering of materials.
  • Elaborate the necessary reports related to your activity.
  • Support in reduce the structural risks of the supply chain and increase its efficiency.
  • Support to implement the best practices to achieve worldclass excellence in the supply chain.
  • Support in provide all the necessary support through experience and resources to projects to achieve the QCD commitments.
  • Provide support in the identification of needs, the definition of requirements, the improvement and the validation of the standards and tools.
  • Manage the KPI's of the area of influence.
  • Manage and group transports and shipments for their optimization (in suppliers).
  • Manage nonconformities related to his/her suppliers.
  • Comply with the EHS regulations.
  • Execute the tests in the system SAP, ARIBA or other that may be required.

Education and Training Required

Mandatory:


  • Professional Education in Administration
  • Medium level in English

Desirable:


  • Fluency in French

Experience Required

Mandatory:


  • At least,2 years of experience in similar positions in Supply Chain (preferably Procurement and Planning)
  • Experience with ERP Systems (as SAP), Material Planning and Procurement tools
