    Join our team:

    At Repsol, we are looking for a professional to be part of our Back Office Wholesale Trading Gas team at Campus Repsol Madrid. If you have 2+ years of experience in back office roles related to natural gas, LNG, or other commodity trading operations, along with a university degree and proficiency in English (C1 level), we encourage you to apply.

    What to expect:

    As part of the Back Office team responsible for physical and derivatives natural gas and LNG trading, you will be involved in activities such as settlement, invoice reconciliation, payments, and regulatory reporting. Working closely with various departments, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Front Office, Confirmations, Credit, Global Services, Compliance teams, and external counterparties.

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Settlement of physical and derivatives NG and LNG transactions, invoice generation, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution
    • Payment processing and timely interfacing with Global Services
    • Regulatory reporting compliance for CNMV, Cores, EMIR, REMIT, and others
    • Liaising with Compliance, Regulators, and Exchanges for adherence to requirements
    • Oversight of regulatory reporting tasks automation in collaboration with Process Support/IT
    • Ensuring new business activities compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

    What we are looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields
    • Advanced level of English proficiency
    • 2+ years experience in back office roles related to natural gas, LNG, or commodity trading
    • Market knowledge, especially in gas/LNG, is advantageous
    • Familiarity with ETRM systems and Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledge of SAP, Allegro, or other ETRM systems preferred
    • Understanding of process automation and RPA tools
