RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Under the coordination of the System Engineering Manager, manage all technical aspects related to (at least) one of the following areas:
- o Electrical power sub-systems and equipment
- Elaborate and maintain technical requirement specifications for onboard subsystems, equipment.
- Define system verification and validation strategy, prepare system test specifications and maintain the verification control documentation.
- Manage the detailed electrical aspects, such as electrical interfaces, TM/TC interfaces, data links and protocols, synchronization links, harness, power budget, EMC aspects, etc. Support the Procurement Team in performing the technical followup of the
- Subcontracted equipment development, including their embedded HW/SW subdevelopments (FPGA, ASIC, SW), and in the assessment of technical risks and RFD/RFW.
- Support the AIT Team in the definition and technical followup of the required test systems, in the preparation of system integration and test activities, and in the review of test reports.
- Support the Quality Team in the investigation of anomalies and nonconformances, providing technical support in NRBs.
- Elaborate technical documentation, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to technical proposals.
- Support the project technical reviews, and conduct and lead the technical reviews to equipment suppliers.
- Work in close collaboration with other engineering disciplines (e.g. thermal, mechanical, harness) involved in the system development throughout the whole lifecycle.
SKILLS
- Educated to degree level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Proven experience (>= 5 years) required in:
- Space system projects
- Requirements management
- Subcontractor technical management
- Proven experience required in (at least) one of the following areas:
- Digital, analog and/or mixed-signal electronic systems
- Power electronics and EMC engineering
- Microelectronics FPGA/ASIC engineering
- RAMS and FDIR analysis
- English advanced level.
- Spanish advanced level.
- Will be appreciated:
- ESA standards experience
- Experience in requirements management with DOORS.
- Experience in electrical analysis with LT/PSPICE and/or MATLAB.
- Experience in electrical design with ALTIUM
