In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L.

markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group:

chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a customer portfolio within the Home Care and Industrial Solutions in Iberia.
Identify customers' needs and potential business opportunities. Creation of new business in current and new customers (hunting).
Promote concepts and products according BASF / BTC strategy and customer needs.
Provide information about the market, competitors and trends through regular communication.
Active participation and engagement in customer events; webinars and trade fairs as well as in social media.
Collaborate with Technicals Experts to achieve success in customers' new projects.
Ensuring compliance with KPI's: Net Sales, Contribution Margin, Overdues, Growth opportunities.
Advise customers on the selection of our products and provide technical support as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable Bachelor's degree with, at least, 3 years of experience in a corresponding function.
Entrepreneurial, conceptual and resultoriented mindset
Leadership qualities, high social competence.
Customer related experience, chemical sales preferred.
Team player, experience being part of/leading an international team is desirable.
High level of Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Identification with the corporate guidelines (BASF Group) and BTC Spirit & Identity.
