In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L.

markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group:

chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the APE Customer Service Iberia team, you will collaborate in the following tasks:

  • To ensure correct and prompt customer order processing, also interacting with the logistic providers (deposit and transport), in the respect of the corporate procedures and standards.
  • To ensure that the invoices and credit notes are issued correctly and promptly in the respect of corporate procedures and current tax regulations.
  • To provide the sales team with the relevant pieces of information relative to order processing and deliverie's status.
  • To ensure a constant update of the customers ́ master data with all relevant info received by the sales teams and / or the customers.
  • To handle customers's products returns, interacting with the sales team, the customer and the logistic provider.
  • To handle Non-Conformances.
  • To guarantee that consignment process run smoothly.
  • To participate on the physical inventory taking at least once a year for each warehouse.
  • To make sure stock taking activities are properly handled liaising with different suppliers and companies to perform stock taking activities and adhering to company rules regarding consignment stock.
  • To monitor inventories shelf dates and slow movers making sure proper actions are taken to minimize the impact on capital costs.
  • To support Iberian Supply Chain Manager in coordinating activities related to refilling/ repackaging/ relabeling decided in Country, checking the monthly forecast after the S&OP meeting and provide the local tolling suppliers with relevant info.
  • To issue and followup the orders and deliveries of FFP & packaging suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar qualification
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • At least 35 years of experience in in Logistics, Customer Service or Supply positions
  • High level of English
  • Customer focus, collaboration and communication skills
