Descripción
Un HAND se ocupa de la carga y descarga de camiones, el montaje y desmontaje de equipos técnicos, elementos del escenario, stands de exposición, mobiliario y asientos o barreras de seguridad entre otros elementos.
Los HANDS no tienen conocimientos previos profundos y no son responsables del trabajo realizado. Siempre trabajan bajo la dirección y supervisión de los jefes de equipo o de los técnicos responsables.No se requiere ninguna cualificación especial para el trabajo de HAND, pero la aptitud física, buena gestión de estrés y flexibilidad es imprescindible para esta industria.
También es necesaria la formación interna en materia de seguridad laboral e instrucciones de trabajo.Por ejemplo, aprender a manejar los diferentes tipos de cables en las producciones, o adquirir conocimientos básicos de montajes de truss o tarimas es siempre positivo.
Por supuesto, todos los Stagehands cuentan con su correspondiente equipo de protección personal y tienen claro que tareas no deben realizar ya que han de ser realizadas por un especialista.
