This is a senior position that carries a high degree of responsibility in developing and leading a comprehensive and fulfilling community living experience for our valued boarders.


Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks

  • Oversee and develop the pastoral and academic care program for the boarders
  • Manage and lead the boarding staff to ensure the smooth operation and the day to day running of the boarding house.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with boarding students, their parents, school staff and relative external agencies
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable boarding experience.
  • Manage all policies, procedures and communications relevant to boarding
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan in order to achieve organizational goals for the Boarding House
  • Ensure health and safety in the Boarding House facilities by conducting risk identification, risk assessment and risk control.
  • To provide a safe, nurturing and wellbeing environment for boarding students.
  • To monitor boarding students' personal, academic progress, programme of activities, and achievements.
  • To provide a high quality of pastoral care, "in loco parentis" (listening, caring, followup), in coordination with the School Counselling department and school nurses when appropriate.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Required qualification diploma university, Possession of a teaching qualification would be an asset.
  • Prior knowledge: Excellent English skills with good knowledge of Spanish.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a team.
  • Confidence to exercise initiative and judgement

Salary: 35,000.00€ - 38,000.00€ per
