About the role:


GPM&S (GreenPowerMonitoring & Solutions) is looking for a talented and proactive person who will join our team as
IT Systems Engineer / Network Engineer.

The main areas of this unit include:

  • Size, provison and deploy server resources to host our services
  • Solve technical challenges in the domain of IoT
  • Evaluate security risks and reduce vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities may include (depending on experience):

  • Configuring and maintaining computer networks including switches, routers and VPNs;
  • Deploying and maintaining virtualized servers;
  • Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of current infrastructure;
  • Troubleshooting and providing technical support to internal staff or external customers when appropriate;
  • Creating and contributing to technical documentation;
  • Estimating tasks and participating in the design of new projects and challenges;
  • Exposing and discussing technology with other IT experts across our organization.

About you:


In order to perform in this role, you should bring in:

  • Comprehensive understanding of network services, networks and redundancy protocols;
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently;
  • Ability to deploy and maintain Windows Server and Linux OS;
  • Proven experience with HyperV and VmWare ESXi;
  • Ability to create scripts to automate actions using PowerShell, bash scripting or Python.

Some extra skills that could be valuable:

  • Certifications: Microsoft (AZ-800, AZ-801), LPIC2 certification or CCNP;
  • Experience with VPN IPSEC or GRE Tunnels;
  • Experience with real HA environments;
  • Experience with observability stack frameworks;
  • Experience with k8s environments.
