  • Leveraging our global capabilities to develop up to 20 major new medicines for patients by 2026, our network of more than 12,000 GDD associates play a central role in driving the company's longterm growth and delivering on its purpose to improve and extend people's lives.
  • The Senior Planning and Reporting Manager plays an instrumental role in GDD target setting process (LFs, LOs, 3 Year Plan), financial performance monitoring (Actual reporting) and in the external/internal resource allocation process. Acts as a strong business partner for several GDD Units/ Functions who positively challenges the assumptions and the status quo. Leads key initiatives within GDD finance aimed to improve financial planning & resource allocation through Artificial Intelligence. He/she is a key point of contact for Group BPA, understands the business drivers and provides clear recommendations for decision making at GLT and IMB.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:


What you'll bring to the role:

  • To lead the planning process for both Core &
reported P&L across GDD- To monitor financial risks & opportunities and

develop mitigation proposals- To design and develop financial review

presentations to GLT, Group and ECN- To provide senior management value added analysis

and recommendations to drive operational
- optimization across GDD, i.e. external and internal
- resource allocation
  • To act as strong business partners for several GDD
GLFs/Units- To support successful roll out of initiatives aimed to

improve financial planning & resource optimization
- using artificial intelligence
  • To provide business counsel on projects, resource
allocation and investment decisions and assists in
- execution of initiatives where needed
  • To perform analysis on cash flow, potential
impairments and contingent consideration

Minimum requirements

Education:


Degree in Business Management, Economics or Accounting
Languages:


English fluency required, Spanish preferred
Experience:


  • 10+ years of experience in Finance
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen and maturity to challenge
input- Confident communicator to senior management

  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Matrix stakeholder management
  • Curiosity to learn and improve

Desirable:

MBA
