    Job Description

    Providing an outstanding in-store experience for & Other Stories customers, including: product knowledge, customer service, merchandising routines, and garment care. You are responsible for advising customers on style, delivering the highest level of customer service to individual shoppers, and driving sales in line with & Other Stories' standards, resulting in a profitable store with excellent customer service.

    Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Customer Service

    • Delivering excellent direct and indirect customer service in line with & Other Stories standards on the sales floor, in the fitting room, and at the cash register.
    • Greeting each customer and engaging in conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Ability to provide detailed product knowledge and be a brand ambassador at all times.
    • Creating an easy, inspiring, and productive shopping experience for each customer that translates into high sales and extreme customer satisfaction.
    • Proactively approaching customers to sign up for the & Other Stories Newsletter for further communication.
    • Answering the phone courteously and promptly.
    • Understanding store goals and sales figures.

    Professional Knowledge

    • Actively working with garments, including processing, storing, replenishing, folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising according to & Other Stories guidelines to maximize sales opportunities.
    • Checking, reporting, and processing all required transactions.
    • Packaging garments for customers according to & Other Stories' high standards, including proper folding, tissue wrapping, boxing, and bag placement.
    • Unloading delivery trucks, receiving, opening, unpacking merchandise, and labeling with security tags.
    • Executing replenishment picking list consistently throughout the day to ensure full inventory on the sales floor.
    • Knowing all product details from & Other Stories, including fabric types, washing instructions, garment sizes, etc.

    Efficiency

    • Executing discounts, price changes, transfers, and payment routines.
    • Using policies and procedures set by & Other Stories to assist in loss prevention and store security and working with store management as needed.

    Team Player

    • Working effectively with team members to ensure the sales floor, point of sale, fitting rooms, and warehouse are clean and well-maintained according to & Other Stories standards.
    • Collaborating with team members to ensure customers receive the best customer service and shopping environment.
    • Adhering to internal values and standards of & Other Stories, as well as procedures outlined in the & Other Stories employee manual.
    • Participating in the training of new sales ambassadors to achieve a high level of customer service.
