What You Will Achieve


This is a role that requires financial expertise to undertake economic research and study the prevalent rates of return, depreciation, working capital and investment of various entities in the income statement to analyze the profit and loss statements.

Your findings and recommendations will be presented to the Pfizer management team.

You will develop and maintain operational specifications for financial information systems after considering the information flow, volume and document format for the data processing equipment.

You will also provide business development analysis and can monitor business performance.

As a Manager, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects.

Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services.

Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of finance and accounting, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies.

You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

The role of the Finance Business Partner is to provide support to the Finance Lead at the San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid) Site in controlling the site manufacturing operations, contributing to all areas of plant management, and providing strong financial leadership.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Collaborate to the monthend closing, ensuring reliability and consistency; Interpret financial results and provide analysis of variances.
  • Prepare / support annual business planning (Budget) and quarterly Forecast process.
  • Standard costs maintenance in

SAP:
calculation and review of product costing for all products of the site.

  • Analysis of the BOMs and recipes among other drivers in process of product costing.
  • Support the Site Lead Team in business development activities, interacting with different stakeholders searching for new growth opportunities.
  • Build adhoc scenarios to support the strategy and decision making of the site.
  • Assist in a timely and appropriate manner to the different areas in the site, contributing to improve efficiency and cost
  • Continuous improvement of the different processes.

Qualifications:

Must-Have

  • Education: Bachelor (or higher degree) in Business Administration or Economics
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written
  • Proven experience in manufacturing cost accounting, business analysis, and providing analytical insights in an industrial environment
  • Excellent analytical, data and problemsolving skills
  • Network skills to build an effective and trusted business partnering relationship
  • Strong communication capabilities
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance within a complex environment and demanding timelines
  • Team oriented, collaborative, and resourceful
  • Strong IT systems experience and knowledge, SAP, Hyperion, Microsoft Office
  • Continuous improvement mindset / oriented
Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Knowledge of various financial systems and financial reporting aspects
  • Proven experience in change management, training and communication plan creation and delivery
  • Understanding of workflowbased logic, ability to understand a business process from a workflow diagram and conceptualize it as an automated solution
  • Relevant professional skills including project planning & delivery, attention to detail, time management, critical thinking
