About the job
We are looking for a Production Project Manager to manage the subcontracted production in various suppliers
manufacturing new tools for wind turbine large components handling.

As a member of the Production Department at Liftra Spain in Bilbao, the Production Project Manager will assume
responsibility for the technical oversight, supervision, quality assurance and overall control of the production
the entire process from reception of the need to the final delivery.

The production lead will be in close contact with the Project Manager, Purchase department, technical team and
suppliers to carry out the complete production project.

Your primary assignments:

Managing manufacturing projects in Spain in line with the company strategy and needs.

Understanding the customer manufacturing need for each project and translate into specific production
requirements, assessing the most appropriate manufacturing process for each case: machining,
boilermaking, welding, painting, galvanizing, assemblies, etc

Translating these requirements to the manufacturing suppliers, participating in the specific request for
quotations.

Following up and supervising the supplier processes to ensure that quality requirements are met. Quality
control and on time delivery.

Developing the suppliers under his responsibility to the high quality standards expected.

Coordinating with key internal and external production stakeholders (engineering, sales, customer
technical contact)

About you
You possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in roles with similar responsibilities within the fields of
metallurgy, heavy industry or capital goods markets.

Your education is Certificate of Engineering Bachelor or Master's degree (FP2 or Grado Superior) related to
Mechanical Design/Industrial or Master in Engineering, preferable mechanics/metallurgical.

Additionally:
IWT, IWI, IWE or ICS certifications will be valued but not required. High knowledge in welding processes.

NDT experience (VT, MT or UT) will be valued but not required and therefore high knowledge in
inspection processes.
